What do I bring to camp?

  • 1 Sleeping bag
  • 2 Pairs of long pants
  • 1 Beach Towel
  • Shampoo
  • 2 Bathing suits
  • 2 Hooded Kangaroos
  • Sanitary napkins/Tampons

What DON’T I bring to camp?

IPods, cell phones, and all other electronic devices are not to be brought to camp. Camp Weredale is not responsible for lost, broken or stolen items.

Can family call camp or campers call home?

You may call to find out how your child is progressing at Camp Weredale and we will gladly pass on a message to your child that you have called. However, we don’t allow campers to use the phone. If the case of an emergency back home, we will locate your child and have them call you back. We encourage campers to not use the phones either.

How much will it cost to send my child to Camp Weredale?

Camp fees are based on a sliding scale where applicable or as needed.

At what age can my child attend Camp Weredale?

Camp Weredale is a co-ed camp with campers aged 6 – 17 years old. Also, our R.E.A.L Team is comprised of 15 – 17-year-olds. All campers are divided into cabins based on their age group and gender.

Should I send money with my child to Camp Weredale?

There are no stores near our camp, so there is really no need to send your child with money. However, Camp Weredale does sell items such as hooded sweatshirts. If you wish to purchase any of these items, please let the director know at the time of registration that you are sending your child with money for whichever specific item(s).
